米崎栄和（よねざきしげかず）

1968年大阪府吹田市生まれ。東京理科大学大学院修了後就職するも、音楽への夢断ちがたく30歳で退職。2001年4月、東京音楽大学指揮科研究生となり、2003年3月に修了。これまでに指揮を紙谷一衛、汐澤安彦、ヴェリサー・ゲンチェフ、広上淳一、湯浅勇治の各氏に、和声を遠藤雅夫、有馬礼子の各氏に、スコアリーディングを久田典子氏に、ピアノを植木純氏に師事。

1999年7月、ハンガリー国際ラバフェスティバルに参加。その後、国内各地のオーケストラやオペラで指揮・副指揮を務め研鑚を積む。2003年9月、若手指揮者の登竜門である第48回ブザンソン国際指揮者コンクールにてコンクール初挑戦で最高位（グランプリなし）に選ばれる快挙を成し遂げ、一躍注目を浴びる。2004年7月、ウィーン・フィルコンサートマスターのライナー・キュッヒル氏とベートーヴェンのヴァイオリン協奏曲を協演。2006年9月より1年間、スロヴァキア国立歌劇場で指揮研究員として研鑽を積む。2008年4月、スロヴァック・シンフォニエッタ・ジリナ（スロヴァキア・ジリナ国立室内管弦楽団）の定期公演に招かれ、そのベートーヴェン交響曲第7番はスタンディングオベーションの絶賛を浴びた。

これまでにリヨン国立管弦楽団、スロヴァック・シンフォニエッタ・ジリナ、東京フィル、新日本フィル、東京シティフィル、東京交響楽団、名古屋フィル、九州交響楽団、日本センチュリー交響楽団、仙台フィル、群馬交響楽団等に客演。また、全国各地の市民オーケストラや大学オーケストラとも共演し数々の名演を繰り広げている。

現在、国内外のオーケストラの客演指揮者として活躍中。

Shigekazu Yonezaki (Conductor)

After receiving a master’s degree from the Science University of Tokyo, Shigekazu Yonezaki decided to pursue a musical career and enrolled in the Performance Diploma Course of the Conducting Department at Tokyo College of Music. He studied conducting under Kazue Kamiya, Yasuhiko Shiozawa, Welisar Gentscheff, Junichi Hirokami, and Yuji Yuasa, harmony under Masao Endo, Reiko Arima, score reading under Noriko Hisada, piano under Jun Ueki.

In 1999, he participated in the Hungarian International Raba Festival. Yonezaki has built up a reserve of experience and musical refinement working as a conductor and assistant conductor with opera companies and orchestras throughout Japan. In 2003 he attracted a great deal of attention when he won the highest prize (no grand prix awarded) in his first appearance at the 48th Besancon International Conductors Competition, a gateway to recognition for young conductors. In July 2004 he conducted the Beethoven violin concerto in a joint performance with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra concertmaster Rainer Kuchl. He also spent a year from September 2006 as a research-fellow conductor with the Slovak National Theatre. In April 2008, he was invited to conduct the regular concert of the Slovak Sinfonietta Zilina (Slovak Zilina National Chamber Orchestra) and his performance Beethoven Symphony No.7 won such great acclaim with standing ovation that since then he conducted this Orchestra for several times.

Thus far Yonezaki has served as a guest conductor with the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Slovak Sinfonietta Zilina , the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, the Osaka Century Symphony Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, and so on.

And great expectations are held for his continuing activities.
